Fellow Virginia Run residents ....
The situation with COVID-19 is disrupting our lives and forcing us to change our behavior and adapt to a new way of doing everyday things. As a Community, we love to gather and unfortunately gatherings are not a good thing at this time. The most important thing right now is that we stay healthy and avoid any possibility of sharing the virus. With that and out of an abundance of caution, the Virginia Run Board of Trustees voted to cancel all Community Center based events until further notice and will resume activities only after receiving proper guidance from public officials. The reason we took this action is because we cannot provide assurances that the facility can be made free of any residual contamination and do not wish to risk those using the facility getting infected. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this action will cause.
As of now, the Management Staff is working in the Community Center, but we must limit access to members so Management will not be available to notarize any documents until further notice. Please call or email if you have questions or concerns and use the drop box installed in the front door or the black mailbox for larger items you wish to deliver.
The Board has not closed the tot lots, basketball or tennis courts. Members need to know we are not sanitizing these areas and if you choose to use them, you are doing so at your own risk.
The virtual Annual Meeting was very successful and we are looking into that option for the upcoming ARB meeting on March 31st. We will post information on the website as details are finalized.
We very much appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this difficult time. We know the Community is already out in force supporting each other and please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
